You’ve Got Mail!
So, I was all set to make my Dalek valentine model when I realized hey, its Wednesday. After the obligatory, “Oh crap,” I pulled this partially completed canvas out of my closet and got down to some last-minute work. If it looks familiar by chance it’s actually the October Create with Me Challenge I never finished.
I prepped the canvas by modge podging some book pages on and painting them with watered down acrylics. I let that dry and added the vinyl wall art pieces. Then I let it ferment in my closet for 3 months before pulling it out again. After that I stamped on some hearts with a cookie cutter, free handed the letters, and went over it with my handy-dandy sharpie adding borders at the same time. I hot glued a bit of ribbon to the back so I can hang it next to my computer area.
This is now for the 5th Iron Craft Challenge instead.
